We have established partnerships with licensed hospitality focused recruitment firms in these countries to assist us with candidate selection, prescreening and the administrative process in their country.

We regularly travel internationally to our source countries where we interview and assess quality of candidates deemed appropriate to satisfy the needs of our clients.

We will provide video presentations to our clients of all candidates chosen so they can be assured that appropriate language and presentation skills are present.

We will NOT charge candidates any fees to find them a job in Canada. This is an illegal practice in Canada and recruitment fees CANNOT be charged to candidates for finding employment in Canada, no matter if the practice is legal in their country of origin. According to the federal Immigration Act governing immigrant workers, employers may be held liable for any fees paid by a candidate to find them a job in Canada.

Candidates and clients need legal advice and assistance to successfully implement a foreign worker program for their establishment. Peg Moves has partnered with Rudolf Kischer, one of Canada’s most prominent Immigration lawyers and a partner in the firm, Maynard Kischer Stojicevic. His many years of experience specializing in the immigration process for both clients and candidates provide the strongest of advocates to ensure this process runs smoothly. No legal fees will be paid to Peg Moves.

We work with the best clients in Canada and therefore will be able to attract the best qualified candidates. Our clients strictly adhere to the Canadian Human Rights Act as well as the provincial Labour Standards Acts. Workers will be assured that they will be treated fairly upon starting work in Canada.

Finally, we provide a six month guarantee! If a candidate chooses to leave the employ of our client or is found to be unsuitable for their position, we will replace that candidate free of charge or provide a reimbursement of up to $500 to our client.
Where will we find these workers?
We are sourcing our workers from the Philippines, Mexico and Morocco.
Why did we choose these countries?
Our reasons are simple:
Philippines: Filipino workers have a reputation for being hardworking and honest. English is commonly spoken in the Philippines and many individuals have previously worked in foreign countries and are open to new adventures. The Filipino community is large in Canada and many of our clients already employ Filipino workers.
Mexico: Tourism is Mexico’s largest industry and there are a great number of workers who have hospitality education and experience. English is also commonly spoken among those people working in the hospitality industry. As a member of NAFTA, Canada has very strong diplomatic relations with Mexico and there is already a successful foreign worker program in place between our two countries for the agricultural industry. But perhaps even more importantly, Visa issuance for workers coming from Mexico is typically 4 to 8 weeks*!
Morocco: Like Mexico, tourism is one of the largest industries in Morocco. They accept over 7 million tourists per year, mainly from Europe and North America. Both of Canada’s official languages, English and French, are mandatory for workers in the tourism industry in Morocco. Post-secondary school is free for Moroccans so the level of education and training is outstanding. The casino industry is also legal and very large in Morocco so we are able to find workers with training and experience in this field. And like Mexico, Visa issuance for workers coming from Morocco is typically 4 to 8 weeks*!
*Please note that Visa processing time can vary greatly and is at the discretion of the Canadian Consulate in each country. Peg Moves Inc. and our partners have no influence with the CIC regarding visa issuance time.
We have found workers from all of these countries eager and excited by the opportunity to live and work in Canada for up to 24 months. The strength of the Canadian dollar coupled with the opportunity to gain valuable foreign work experience has made our country one of the most attractive choices for working abroad. Unemployment rates are extremely high in these countries and this is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity for workers to earn more money in two short years than they have been able to earn in 5 or 10 years in their countries. When they return home, they may be able to buy a house, start a business or help out family members in need. They will also be “in demand” because of the experience they have gained in Canada.
