Executive Recruiter / Culinary Specialist
Gabor comes to us with over 15 years in the hospitality industry. After graduating from the Kendall College of Culinary Arts in Evanston, Illinois, in 1992, Gabor was awarded the position of Assistant Banquet Chef at the famous Palmer House Hilton in downtown Chicago. In 1995 he joined the luxurious Hotel Intercontinental as Sous Chef, located on Chicago's Magnificent Mile. In 1998, Gabor became an Executive Sous Chef at the celebrated Rosebud Restaurants in Chicago. Within 6 months, he was promoted to Executive Chef and was charged with opening a premier new location, The Rosebud of Highland Park. After many successful years, Gabor moved to Los Angeles in 2002 where he was the Executive Chef for the popular Grill Concepts, heading their Universal City location. As his career grew, so did his interests. He became involved with the front of the house and operations with Grill Concepts. His reputation grew as an expert in both front and back of house operations and in 2004 he took a position as General Manager and Operations Manager for Pacific Restaurant Concepts in Las Vegas opening restaurants for the company.
Gabor has true passion for the hospitality industry. His focus has always been team building and through the years he has developed many wonderful relationships and contacts. He has first hand knowledge of the day to day challenges of running successful operations and through this understanding, can expertly address the needs of both clients and candidates. He is thrilled to be a part of Peg Moves, where he continues to live his passion in the hospitality field.
