Labour Crunch! Peg Moves Inc. offers new Foreign Worker Hospitality Recruitment Program

For immediate release – January 7, 2008

VANCOUVER – January 7th marks the official launch of a new value added service from Peg Moves, a comprehensive Foreign Worker Recruitment Program to address the severe labour shortage in the hospitality industry in Canada.

Peg Moves has long been a trusted partner in the Executive and Management Recruitment sector of the Hospitality industry.  The Foreign Worker Recruitment Program will operate with the same standards of professionalism and integrity on which Peg Moves has built its’ successful reputation.  The Foreign Worker Recruitment Program will assist hotel and restaurant clients currently suffering from an overwhelming labour shortage of entry level candidates including room attendants, front desk staff, food & beverage servers, counter attendants, cooks, as well as other positions in demand.  Candidates will be chosen from the Philippines, Mexico and Morocco where Peg Moves has established partnerships with other licensed and experienced hospitality recruitment firms.  Legal services will be provided by Rudolf Kischer, one of Canada’s leading Immigration & Citizenship lawyers and a partner in the law firm of Maynard Kischer Stojicevic located in Vancouver, British Columbia.

“We are very excited to announce our Foreign Worker Recruitment Program and to continue offering more valuable services to our clients.  This Program is actually the result of an overwhelming number of client requests to have Peg Moves become active in this type of service,” said Roxanne Jessome, managing partner and co-founder of Peg Moves.  “There has been a great deal of bad press surrounding foreign worker recruitment and unsavory practices by companies purporting to be able to provide workers.  However, our clients know that we are professional hospitality recruiters and will NEVER do anything unethical or illegal in the treatment of candidates.”  At Peg Moves, services provided to candidates are ALWAYS free and it is illegal to charge candidates fees to find a job in Canada, no matter their country of origin.

The determination to maintain strict recruitment standards is reiterated by Douglas Harb, the Company’s other co-founder and managing partner:  “We are very serious about the trust placed in us by both our clients and candidates and value the reputation we have built as honest recruiters.  There can be serious consequences for clients who enter into relationships with agencies who do not follow the laws of Canada.  After extensive research and investigation on our part, we have formed partnerships with companies whom we are sure will treat candidates in the same manner as Peg Moves.”

Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Peg Moves also has offices in Toronto, Seattle and Las Vegas.  For further information about the Foreign Worker Recruitment Program, and for details about fees, guarantees and process, please contact Roxanne Jessome at the telephone number and email address below.
