Peg Moves Announces Peter Danakas to Join Firm in Key Role as Managing Director, Eastern Canada

VANCOUVER – Signifying its intention to develop into a fully national hospitality recruiting firm, Peg Moves is pleased to announce that Peter Danakas has joined the firm as Managing Director, Eastern Canada.

Danakas brings with him over 25 years of experience in the foodservice and hospitality industry, in addition to valued experience in executive search and recruitment. Danakas has served in senior management roles with Panago, PepsiCo Canada - Pizza Hut Division, the Parliament of Canada, and the Douglas MacDonald Development Corporation.

The addition of Danakas to the Peg Moves team solidifies the Company’s presence in central and eastern Canada, and its commitment to fully expand on a national level. According to Roxanne Jessome, co-founder of Peg Moves, “Peter’s depth of experience makes him a valuable addition to our team. We see him as an innovator, someone who will be integral to leading our recruitment operations, but who is also a developer of business, people, and systems.”  

Co-founder Douglas Harb emphasized the values that Danakas brings with him, which echo those of the Company and its overall approach. “Peter’s philosophy on business is the same as ours: unwavering ethics and integrity, and a core sense for doing the right thing – be it for the client or the candidate.”

This synergy in values was also of great importance, from Danakas’ perspective, in his decision to join Peg Moves.
